Welcome to the St. John First Missionary Baptist Church website.

My favorite scripture is Matthew 6:33. It teaches me that if I seek the will of God for my life and strive to live for Him He will provide me with everything I need. David learned that and was able to say ―The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Each morning I ask for guidance in order to walk in His will and to glorify Him in everything I do that day. Am I successful each day? I wish I could say that I am. But what I have discovered is that God is faithful to His Word. He supplies me with everything I need. If you seek His will and strive to live for Him, He will supply your every need
